Food Drive
Here’s an easy way that you can help us help people in need within our community. Follow these simple steps and organize a food drive in your neighborhood.
1. Fill in the blanks on the attached flyer to provide the date and time you plan to pick up the food and your name and phone number in case someone has a question.
2. Make copies of the flyer, attach them to grocery bags, and distribute one to each neighbor. Again, the pickup date is when you plan to collect the food.
3. Call WARM at 899-0196 to make arrangements for delivery to the pantry.
Thank you for helping us “provide a hand up” to families in need.

WARM is an exemplary faith-based organization serving the Westerville community. We work with families who are on the economic and spiritual journey of self-sufficiency. Our mission is to provide compassionate, short-term assistance, educational services and spiritual support in order to encourage individuals to achieve a God-reliant, self-sufficient life while restoring dignity and hope. WARM helps families living within the 52 square mile area that makes up the Westerville school district.
Awareness is a big step in mobilizing people to do something. Many may be wondering,
“Why are we doing a food drive?”
Even more are unfamiliar with the need that exists right here in our own back yard. We tend to compare others with our own circumstances, and often ask the question
“Are there really poor people that live in my community?”
To help address this , here are a few stats to help answer the ‘why’ & ‘need’ questions:
- Over 28% of families in our local school district live at or below the economic level making them eligible for government sponsored food assistance programs.
- 1 in 4 kids are hungry or at risk of hunger.
- Thousands of people suffer from food insecurity and lack of nutritional food
- 100% of all food collected through this Food Drive stays in our community and will be distributed to families in need.
