WARM serves our neighbors who live in the Westerville area, primarily within the Westerville School District. We primarily provide assistance with food (Choice Market) and employment (Way2Work). Because we want to do more, our Client Services team also supports families experiencing financial or life challenges through resource referrals, improving life stability, and spiritual encouragement. We want to get to know the families we serve so we can help them as much as possible by supporting and encouraging them, and connecting them with resources that address their needs.
Financial Education
Are you worried about paying your bills or budgeting with limited funds? Is your credit score holding you back? Learn about these and more at our financial education workshops, designed to help you gain the understanding to better navigate these challenges.
WARM, in partnership with OhioMeansJobs Columbus-Franklin County, will be hosting Watch-2-Learn sessions at our Westerville location featuring OMJCFC’s Money Matters program. These 60-minute workshops cover topics like budgeting, credit, savings, and more.
Registration is required. To learn more including the date and time of our next session(s), visit our registration page:
Resource Referrals
Through the Hope Program, a Supportive Coach meets with a family member by phone or in person to understand their situation and the challenge they are facing. The coach explores options for addressing the challenge and makes referrals to other organizations that may be able to provide the needed assistance. To learn more, visit our Hope Program.
Spiritual Encouragement
Faith is central to the work we do at WARM and we believe that it is important to many of the families we serve. A Pastoral Coach is available to talk and pray with a family when they come in for an appointment with our team or for curbside pickup. They also suggest resources to help them with questions they may have about faith. In addition, our Prayer Team is available to pray for the families we serve and other neighbors in our community. If you have a prayer request, visit our Prayer Requests Page.
Call us at 614-899-0196 to schedule an appointment with one of our coaches so that we can get to know you and best understand how we can help you overcome some of life's challenges. To learn more, visit Spiritual Care.
