GROUP SERVICE PROJECTS
Service Westerville Together
There is something powerful about serving together. When a group gathers around a shared mission, compassion multiplies, energy rises, and the impact stretches further than any one person could reach alone. At WARM, group service projects create meaningful moments where teams, families, businesses, churches, and community groups become part of the hope that sustains our neighbors.
Whether you're sorting food, assembling kits, or supporting a special event, your group’s hands-on help creates ripples of change throughout Westerville—and every act of kindness reminds our neighbors that they are surrounded by a caring community.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a dress code to follow while volunteering at WARM?
In the pantry and warehouse, the dress code is casual (t-shirt, jeans, closed-toe shoes). The warehouse temperature varies with the weather. Office volunteers should wear modest business casual (dress shirt, slacks/skirt).
What’s the earliest I can schedule a service project?
Depending on the season, it may take a couple of months to schedule your group. The end-of-year holiday season is our busiest time, and while we work hard to accommodate as many groups as possible, dates fill quickly due to the season of giving and schools being out of session. Saturdays are the most in-demand day year-round and tend to book up especially fast.
To secure your preferred date and time, we recommend scheduling at least three months in advance for a Thursday or Friday project and a minimum of six months in advance for a Saturday project. We love welcoming community groups to serve with us and will always do our best to accommodate everyone.
What types of projects can my group complete?
Typical projects include bulk sorting for freshly donated items, mid-grade items that sort into one of our 30 food categories, or expiration date/quality control checking. Depending on the season, you may be able to complete unique projects like assembling Thanksgiving Blessing Bags or stuffing Holiday Food Drive bags.
Where do I go to volunteer?
We are located at 150 Heatherdown Dr. Please park in the west lot and enter through the double glass doors.
Can we volunteer as a family?
Yes! We host quarterly Family Days of Service where you will come together with other families on a Saturday to serve and complete projects together. Reach out to us to get scheduled!
How old do I need to be to volunteer?
We welcome anyone aged 12 years and older to volunteer at WARM. Youth volunteers under the age of 18 must have a completed Release and Waiver of Liability signed by a parent or guardian.
Ages 12 - 15 years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and remain with them at all times during the volunteer shift.
Age 16 and older may volunteer independently in the pantry and most roles in the distribution center.
