Chad Maxeiner, a white man, with glasses and stubbly facial hair. He is wearing a blue button up shirt and is in front of shelves in our choice market.

The Westerville Area Resource Ministry (WARM) is pleased to announce that Chad Maxeiner has been named Executive Director, following his service as Interim Executive Director over the past several months. Maxeiner has been a dedicated member of the WARM team for nine years, serving in a range of key leadership roles—including his most recent position as Director of Operations—before stepping into the interim role.

“Chad has led with insight, faith, and a genuine commitment to WARM’s mission, building trust, strengthening our programs, and cultivating a Christ-centered culture,” said Renis Desai, Board Chair of WARM. “The Board is grateful for his leadership and excited for all God will continue to do through him.”

During his tenure, Maxeiner has played a crucial role in strengthening organizational efficiency, expanding program capacity, and building strong relationships with volunteers, donors, and community partners. As Executive Director, he will oversee WARM’s mission to provide compassionate, life-changing resources—including food assistance, workforce development, and child nutrition—to neighbors throughout the Westerville area.

I’m truly honored and excited to be named the Executive Director of WARM. This team inspires me every day, and I look forward to leading them into the next chapter of serving our community with compassion, excellence, and hope.
— Chad Maxeiner

The WARM Board of Directors conducted a thorough evaluation process before selecting Maxeiner for the permanent position. His operational expertise, relational leadership style, and clear commitment to WARM’s mission made him the unanimous choice to lead the organization into its next chapter.

Founded in 1972, WARM serves thousands of families each year through its food pantry, workforce development initiatives, children’s nutrition programs, and community support services. Guided by the values of dignity, empowerment, and connection, WARM partners with local churches, schools, businesses, and volunteers to meet needs and strengthen the Westerville community.
